Soloman

Soloman Starr is a wizard working for the family business “Starr Wand Repair” who seeks to get out of his mundane life in Sailsburgh. Soloman seeks for a more creative and disruptive career being a rock star across the lands. After having an argument with his father about said aspiration, Soloman stumbles his way to the local boat bar “The Dock” and meets other main character Marren. The two have a heart to heart conversation and start their adventures in the concept series that is “The Dock”.

Initially, I wanted Soloman to be an older character, a wise but off-kilter figure to Marren in his adventures. After working out some preliminary concepts for him, I realized his character and attributes would better suit a younger but still ambiguously aged look where Marren would take on the more responsible role while Soloman is regarded as a more scoundrelly type. While Soloman is regarded as getting into regular hijinks, he is actually very cunning, extroverted, stubborn, creative, and charming to the duo’s advantage at times.
